I returned for my second visit to the Houghton Elementary School’s Fifth Grade Art Class (teacher: Melissa Hronkin) to continue teaching the Zentangle process. The students again “got into it,” as you can see from these pictures. It was a real pleasure and a joy to teach these young artists.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, I had the pleasure of teaching Zentangle to two classes of Houghton Elementary School Fifth Graders. All the students were enthusiastic and attentive, and, as you can see, very creative. I look forward to continuing our Zentangle experience on March 28th, and can’t wait to see what artistic creations they come up with! Thanks to the elementary school art teacher, Melissa Hronkin for inviting me to teach this fun group of kids. (Sorry for the variable quality in the photos)
In addition to new tangles I see posted, I started going through the patterns at the Tangle Patterns site alphabetically, and adding tangles from there. This week I added: Garland, Archer, Basketweave, Blooming-butter, Bwiya, and Brayd.
Be sure to visit Tanglepatterns.com yourself to see the great selection there.
